We are thrilled that you will be participating in our 32nd Annual Summer Selling “Chexpo”. A few important updates and reminders:
Location, Dates, & Hours
Rhode Island Convention Center

Setup: Monday, February 12th from 11:00am to 5:00pm
Vendor Reception: Monday, February 12th from 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Show: Tuesday, February 13th from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
A few things to note:
T.F. Green Airport in Providence is still the closest airport to fly into.
Setup will be the day before Chexpo and all booths will need to be complete by COB Monday, February 12th since the show will open at 8:00 am the next day. Please be at your booth and ready to do business promptly at 8:00 am.

Product/Samples Information
As our vendor community and Chexpo have continued to grow, so has the need for additional tradeshow material handling services. For our 2024 tradeshows, all samples for both regular merchandise and shippers will be sent directly to our material handling provider’s warehouse. No booth samples or booth setup materials will be accepted into the Chex warehouse. No product will be pulled from Chex inventory and sent to the show for use at your booth. Additional details to follow.
Electrical Information
If you need electricity at your booth, or additional internet (additional access only- an ipad with ordering capabilities to take orders at your booth will be provided to you at no additional charge) please purchase directly from RICC via the link below by February 7th.

Onsite Cooking
Please bring all products you intend to sample with you fully prepared to consume. If you need assistance from the venue kitchen to prepare your product (such as needing pasta cooked on-site, etc.) please contact us ahead of time to arrange. Crockpots may be used at your booth, but no additional heat sources such as open flames or skillets may be utilized on the show floor. Vendors may sample their product as they see fit, but are encouraged to provide samples in pre-portioned containers, or sample-sized bags, to minimize the spread of germs.
Electronic Ordering System
We are also excited to share that we will be offering the Perenso Electronic Ordering System at the show, making it easier than ever to take orders on the show floor and negotiate volume opportunities live! This should be familiar to those that attended Chexpo previously, and training will be available pre-show and on set up day for those who are new or need a refresher.
Price Changes
Our cutoff for any price changes for the Tradeshow Promotion period of May-July has already passed. Retailers are already making buying decisions during the show based on the pricing that has been given to them beforehand. To help minimize disruption, Chex is strongly advising all vendors honor pricing for this program. As a reminder and per our Supplier Policies, Chex requires a minimum of 90 days’ notice for all price changes. Any and all price changes must be submitted on the Chex Finer Foods price change form with specific order or ship dates noted. Please contact your Category Manager if you need assistance.
